You run it. You should control how it's listed.
Colorado Dance lists public dance events whether or not the organizer has asked us to, the same way a newspaper listings page would — and anyone can add one. What we would rather do is hand you the keys, so what people read is what you actually meant. You never have to lift a finger for it to be listed, and every listing links straight to your own page.
Free, and staying free
No ads on your listing. No fee to be included, no fee to be featured, and nothing you can pay to rank higher. There is no ranking to buy.
No account to create
We email you a private link. Click it, edit your event, done. No password, no dashboard to learn, nothing to remember in six months.
Your details stay yours
We do not sell or share your email. Your listing links straight to your own page or ticket seller, not through us.
Claim your listing
Your event, your venue, your organization, or your own instructor profile — find it below, add your name and email, and press send. If it isn't listed yet, add it here instead.
Questions organizers actually ask
Is this really free?
Yes. Listing an event, claiming it, and keeping it updated are all free, and there is no paid tier that unlocks anything. We do not sell ads, we do not sell your details, and we do not take a cut of your door.
What's the catch?
There is not one. Colorado Dance is built and run by one person as a free community resource — no ads, no fees, no data, nothing sold. A calendar that people actually trust needs accurate listings, and the fastest way to get those is to let the people running the events edit their own.
Do I need an account?
No. Once your claim is approved we email you a private link. Open it and you can edit your listing straight away. There is no password to remember and no login to lose.
What can I change once I claim it?
Date, time, price, description, venue, styles, instructor credits, and your own links. You can also cancel a single night without deleting the whole series, which is the thing most calendars get wrong.
Will you take my event off if I ask?
We keep public events listed, the way a newspaper events page does, because a calendar with holes in it is not one anybody can rely on. So we do not remove an event just because someone asks. What we will always do is make it right: tell us what is wrong and it is fixed, usually the same day, and once you claim it you can fix it yourself at any time, including cancelling a single night. We do take down anything that should not be public in the first place — private personal details, images you do not have the right to share, spam, and events that have ended.
gabe@colorado.dance — tell us what's wrong and we'll fix it, claim or no claim.
