The California Routine

<p>Learn one of Lindy Hop’s most iconic and useful partnered routines! Originally created by Frankie Manning, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0NDp0gIZLY">the California Routine</a> is energetic, fun and accessible. (The lifts and air steps seen in some versions of the routine will be optional for all dancers) This four-week class not only teaches the choreography, but provides technical tips that will be helpful on the social dance floor.</p><p>This progressive series takes place Monday evenings at the Avalon Ballroom. (Registration closes after Week 2).</p><p><em>Dates</em>: October 9, 16, 23, 30<em><br>Time: </em>6:45-7:45 p.m.<br><em>Prerequisites</em>: Comfort dancing swingouts and six-count turns at a 160 bpm tempo.
